1. About Gyne.pk

Gyne.pk is a digital healthcare platform that facilitates access to online gynecology and women's healthcare consultations through qualified healthcare professionals.

Gyne.pk provides technology and communication services to connect patients with healthcare professionals. The platform does not operate as a hospital, emergency department, ambulance service, laboratory, pharmacy, or diagnostic center.

2. Eligibility

You may use Gyne.pk only if:

• You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• The information you provide is accurate and complete.
• You use the platform only for lawful purposes.
• You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

If you are consulting on behalf of another individual, you confirm that you are legally authorized to do so.

3. Nature of Telemedicine

Telemedicine has limitations compared with an in-person medical consultation.

Medical advice provided through Gyne.pk is based on:

• The patient's signs and symptoms.
• History of Present Illness (HOPI).
• Past medical history.
• Information voluntarily provided by the patient.
• Reports, images, prescriptions, and documents shared during consultation.

Because a complete physical examination cannot be performed online, certain conditions may require referral for in-person assessment, investigations, or hospital care.

4. No Emergency Services

Gyne.pk is not an emergency medical service.

Do not use the platform for:

• Severe bleeding
• Chest pain
• Difficulty breathing
• Stroke symptoms
• Pregnancy emergencies
• Loss of consciousness
• Serious injuries
• Any life-threatening condition

Patients experiencing an emergency should immediately attend the nearest Government Hospital or licensed emergency healthcare facility.

5. Medical Advice

Medical opinions are based solely upon the clinical information available during the consultation.

A consultation through Gyne.pk does not guarantee:

• A confirmed diagnosis.
• A prescription.
• Recovery.
• Cure.
• Specific treatment outcomes.

Healthcare professionals may recommend investigations, follow-up consultations, referral to another specialist, or hospital evaluation whenever clinically appropriate.

6. Prescriptions

Prescriptions are issued only when considered medically appropriate.

Gyne.pk may provide:

• Text-based medication advice for suitable over-the-counter medicines.
• Digitally signed prescriptions for prescription medicines where clinically justified.

Digitally signed prescriptions are intended for presentation at licensed pharmacies in Pakistan. Dispensing decisions remain subject to applicable law and the professional judgment of the pharmacist.

7. Patient Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful medical information.
• Inform the doctor of allergies and medical conditions.
• Disclose pregnancy, breastfeeding, and current medications.
• Follow medical advice responsibly.
• Seek emergency treatment when advised.
• Attend recommended follow-up consultations.
• Complete recommended investigations.

Providing false, incomplete, or misleading information may affect medical advice.

8. Fees and Payments

Consultation fees are displayed before booking or initiating a consultation.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Fees relate only to the online consultation.
• Laboratory tests, medicines, imaging, hospital care, and procedures are not included.
• Payment processing may be performed through third-party payment providers.

Except where required by law or expressly stated by Gyne.pk, consultation fees are generally non-refundable once the consultation has commenced.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Refund requests are considered in accordance with Gyne.pk's Refund Policy.

Gyne.pk reserves the right to refuse refunds where services have already been delivered or where misuse, fraud, or abuse of the platform is identified.

10. Privacy

Use of Gyne.pk is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the platform, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your information as described in that Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All content available on Gyne.pk, including text, graphics, logos, software, medical articles, educational materials, trademarks, website design, and branding, remains the property of Gyne.pk or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission.

12. User Conduct

Users must not:

• Submit false information.
• Impersonate another individual.
• Abuse healthcare professionals or staff.
• Upload malicious software.
• Attempt unauthorized access.
• Misuse prescriptions.
• Violate applicable laws.

Gyne.pk may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

13. Third-Party Services

The platform may provide access to third-party services including:

• WhatsApp
• Payment providers
• Laboratories
• Pharmacies
• Hospitals
• Diagnostic centres

These services operate independently.

Gyne.pk is not responsible for the products, services, availability, privacy practices, or professional conduct of third parties.

14. Educational Content

Articles, blogs, FAQs, videos, and educational resources published on Gyne.pk are intended solely for educational purposes.

They should not replace professional medical advice or emergency medical treatment.

15. Availability of Services

We aim to provide reliable access to the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Services may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, technical failures, internet interruptions, software updates, cybersecurity incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gyne.pk, its directors, employees, healthcare professionals, affiliates, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

• Delays in consultation.
• Technical interruptions.
• Inaccurate information supplied by the patient.
• Failure to follow medical advice.
• Delay in obtaining emergency care.
• Medication misuse.
• Pharmacy dispensing decisions.
• Third-party products or services.
• Events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gyne.pk, its directors, employees, healthcare professionals, affiliates, and service providers against claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms.
• Your misuse of the Services.
• Violation of applicable laws.
• Inaccurate information provided during consultation.

18. Suspension or Termination

Gyne.pk may suspend, restrict, or terminate access without prior notice where it reasonably believes that:

• These Terms have been violated.
• Fraud is suspected.
• The platform has been misused.
• Continued access poses legal, operational, or security risks.

Termination does not affect any legal rights or obligations that have already arisen.
